Job Description

This job holder will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Conduct issues within Sales & Distribution Department (Both Partnership Distribution and Agency Channels). The job holder is in charge of identifying potential activities that impact quality business, conduct independent, objective, and thorough investigations into suspected misconduct, fraud, regulatory breaches, and ethical violations, ensuring timely resolution, accurate reporting, and adherence to Group and local regulatory requirements.

  • Investigation & Case Management
  1. Ensure timely investigation cases with high-quality documentation (06 months backlogged reporting period).
  2. Review the Conduct end-to-end investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, or regulatory breaches, from intake to final closure.
  3. Perform detailed fact-finding, evidence gathering, and analysis, including desktop reviews, interviews, and cross-examination of relevant parties
  4. Assess and validate red flags to identify high-risk cases requiring escalation
  5. Maintain proper documentation of investigation steps, evidence, and conclusions to ensure defensibility.
  6. Investigation of Governance & Standards
  7. To review investigations in accordance with Group investigation principles, including independence, objectivity, confidentiality, and proportionality.
  8. Identify and declare any conflicts of interest and ensure independence of the investigation process.
  9. Ensure strict confidentiality and apply the “need-to-know” principle in handling case information.
  • Stakeholder Management
  1. Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., Claims, Underwriting, Sales, Customer Experience) to gather evidence and clarify facts.
  2. Liaise with reporters and relevant employees to support case development while protecting confidentiality
  3. Support Compliance leadership in interactions with regulators where required.
  4. Reporting and Escalation
  5. Prepare clear, concise, and defensible investigation reports, including findings, root causes, and recommended actions
  6. Escalate confirmed fraud or serious misconduct cases to senior management and relevant governance forums, including Audit Committee where applicable
  7. Support regulatory reporting (e.g., submissions to Insurance Regulator of Cambodia) as required.

Job Requirement

  • Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in English, Law, Finance, Economics, Statistic or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in related industries such as banking, insurance, accounting, auditing or consulting is a plus.

  5. Knowledge of fraud risk, and regulatory compliance frameworks
  6. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  7. Strong interviewing, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  8. High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.
  9. Strong judgement in handling complex or sensitive cases
  10. Legal background is a plus
