Job Description

 - Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement HR policies and procedures
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Assist in company’s disciplinary and internal rules implementation and provide counseling to line manager regarding this matter
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process, checking references and submitting interviewing reports
- Create and implement effective orientation and on boarding process in compliance to HR procedures
- Maintain employee records and files and ensure HR files are compliant to Cambodia Labor Law
- Assist in performance management processes including planning, monitoring and reviews
- Take part in building employee engagement program to promote team spirit and job satisfaction
- Take part in planning employer branding activities to promote and attract potential candidates
- Assist line managers in drafting and creating competency requirements for each role and succession planning
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
- Adhere to Cambodia Labor Law and regulations through regular updates from MLVT
- Compile training plan from all departments and assist in training plan roll-out (pre, during, and post) and gather training reports
- Check staff fingerprints, leaves, OT and other benefits and compile monthly payroll reports to Finance and Accounting Department
- Assist in staff transfer, promotion, demotion, and job rotation when required and ensure compliance to existing HR policies and procedures
- Attend company training and meeting when required
- Other HR technical matters as required by the management

Job Requirement

 

Degrees and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field;
- Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible human resources field, preferably at a law firm or professional services environment;
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of labor and related laws; Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (in Khmer and English languages) with the
ability to relate well to all levels of the organization;
- Ability to build appropriate rapport;
- Proficient in Human Resource Information System applications and/or related software such as, Workday, MS Office, SAP, etc;
- Ability to develop and motivate staff;
- Ability to establish credibility quickly and firmly;
- Ability to deal positively with adversity and difficult situations;
- Strong active listening and communication skills;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
