Job Description

 1. Scope of working:

Content Editor role is to plan and direct editing of printed and digital publications in accordance with editorial policies and guidelines and accepted rules of grammar, style and format prior to printing and distribution. Content Editor may also required collect, analysis and translate facts about newsworthy events by interview, joining events and write stories for printed and digital publication.

2. Duties & responsibilities:
- Determines written articles for publication approaches by consulting clients and management, and studying related information to establish principal publication features.
- Makes decisions about the specific content of publications in conjunction with other senior editors and in accordance with editorial policies and guidelines.
- Reviews articles/contents for publication, to ensure conformity with accepted rules of grammar, style, format and story coherence as well as the accuracy, legality and ethics of content.
- Collects and analyses facts about newsworthy events from interviews, printed matter, and joining related events.
- Writes and translate news reports, commentaries, articles and feature stories on topics of public interest.
- Maintain good working relationships with your manager and your peer.
- Perform other tasks assign by Business director/ Manager.

3. Working Days and Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 12:00pm & 1:30pm to 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 12:00pm

Job Requirement

4. Qualification & requirement:

- A bachelor’s degree/associate degree in English Literature or a similar skill.
- Fresh Graduate are welcomed.
- Must be able to use Office software packages (Word, Excel, Power Point .etc.)
- Must be good command of written and spoken English.
- Fluency or ability to use one or many other languages is an advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and wide understanding on social issued.
- Be able to pay attention to detail, write clear, concise and objectively based.
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadline.
- Abilities to perform the role and mission travel to province or abroad when required.
- Good at reading information and be able to work independently.
- Applicants submitted with Study Records/Transcripts are highly appreciated.
