- Hours: 48 hours per week

Position summary
The Director has the executive authority to oversee all aspects of KIT’s operation, including planning, implementing and evaluating the university’s resources, programs and services in line with its vision, missions and strategies. The Director is the academic leader who is ultimately responsible for ensuring student success and the completion of their goals. The Director also represents the university to outside communities, including the business and industry leaders, higher education institutions, students and their families and the government agencies. This is a full-time position which is based in Kirirom National Park, Kampong Speu Province. Priority will be given to qualified Cambodian candidate.

Main responsibilities
- Development and execution of KIT’s long-term strategic plan, educational programs, policies and procedures
- Development of a competent academic and administrative organization and staff to ensure effective management of KIT
- Faculty appointments, performance, tenure and promotion and contract termination 
- Support for staff and faculty development
- Development and implementation of plans for increasing student access, enrollment, retention, graduation and career-readiness. 
- Promotion of KIT’s partnerships with schools, universities, government institutes and the business sector
- Development of an effective external relations and resources mobilization, including fundraising program for KIT
- Other duties as assigned by KIT’s Governing Board
