Job Description

  • General responsibilities:
  • -Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
  • -Develop sales strategies for assigned businesses/territories. Contribute to sales strategies for individual products in consultation with the Client
  • -Management team -Assign geographical sales territories and establish budgets. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to manage geographical territories' performance
  • -Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term sales plans. Oversee sales activities and initiate and cascade new/improved strategies and plans based on changing markets and trends -Lead pricing and contract negotiation activities to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins -Lead new/enhanced product solutions to best address customer needs based on product gap analysis
  • -Oversee sales forecasting and reporting processes/activities. Contribute to customer base expansion strategies based on effectiveness of sales strategies/plans -Oversee the development and implementation of continuous improvements on sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc. Monitor department accounts receivable days closely and oversee collection trends
  • -Lead and guide resolution of complex customer issues
  • -Develop and build long-term strategic relationships with key customers to achieve business objectives
  • -Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in anticipating client needs, defining and leveraging cross
  • -product/industry business opportunities

Job Requirement

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned territories/products/services and an existing network of contacts
  • Demonstrate advanced negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
  • Minimum eight to ten years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a managerial capacity
