Job Description

As Site Draftsman, your role is to create plans and technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.

• Prepare shop drawings and nesting
• Perform simple engineering design work and calculations
• Propose relevant / appropriate material selection
• Perform material take-off
• Check designs for mistakes
• Familiar with contract specifications
• Perform site checks and resolve site problems
• Assist in planning schedules for drawing completion and issuance
• Seek new ideas / solutions to improve the current designs, work methods and procedures
• Liaise with other designers and Structural Designer on drafting matters
• Liaise with Site Managers, Site Engineers and Clients as needed

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• At least 3 years’ experience as Architectural Designer, Structural Designer or similar role
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of AutoCAD, Sketch Up, 3D-Max, Adobe Suite, etc.
• Able to work in a team
• Detailed and meticulous
