Job Description

PLEASE SEND YOUR CV to recruit.hk@carters.com • Conduct Product Safety Management practices, like Product Safety Assessment, across Carter’s Vendor base to ensure products and processes are compliant to the best practice and process standards expected, reacting quickly to manage any safety concern. • Implement and support vendor management related to onboarding program and manufacturing capability. • Coordinate Product Safety representatives in all of Carter’s production facilities, conducting training and auditing regularly to ensure total compliance and managed risk. • Review product for potential compliance concerns, consult with designers, merchants, product development and sourcing staff on product safety concerns in design and sampling stages. • Communicate/consult with Product Integrity, Raw Material and Sourcing teams on material/chemical compliance and reporting issues, making recommendations to address concerns. • Support cooperation model with component suppliers to standardize process control in production. • Coordinate training for cross-functional partners on quality, safety and testing topics. Support in conjunction with the Sourcing, Component supplier and vendor for product integrity feedback.

Job Requirement

	• Bachelor degree with a focus in apparel, textile engineering / Chemistry, or other industry-related field. • Minimum 3 years or above as Quality Assurance or Product Safety Management/ relevant experience in garment, kids wear will be highly advantage. • Fluent in English – both spoken and written. • Knowledge of tools and methodologies of QA/QC and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. • Experience audit procedures and collaborating with vendors, testing laboratories and third party sourcing agents. • Capable of creating and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in computer skills and reporting of metrics.
