Job Description

- Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within time frame 

- Building relationships and interacting with management to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise 

- Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns 

- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within time frame 

- Identify and mitigate tax risks 

- Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance 

- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process 

- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices 

- Manage and coordinate tax audits 

- Maintain tax balances on general ledger 

- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests 

- Checking and verifying postings done by subordination. 

- Oversees audit planning, field work, and audit reporting; prepares reports, and communicates findings and recommendations to line and senior management. 

- Review automated audit work papers prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the department's methodology. 

- Responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and responsible for the development of audit staff and the completion of performance evaluations. 

- Ensures that reviews are completed in compliance with the Corporate Audit Department and Institute of Internal Auditor standards. 

- Responsible for the effective management of internal controls and the operation effectiveness of accounting systems with company procedure and policy. 

- Responsible for the internal control and daily operation of accounting system 

- Other tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirement

* Qualifications and Education Requirements 

- Age 25-40 

- BBA/Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Tax and Finance or Professional audit certifications preferred (CPA or CIA is a plus) 

- Knowledge of POS, Quick Book, Sage and other system 

- Five (5) plus years of taxation and audit experience in public accounting or internal audit 

- Proven work experience as a tax or audit supervisor 

- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns 

- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems 

- Strong leadership and personnel management skills 

- Analytical skills with detail orientation 

- Audit experience in public accounting or internal audit 

- Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (audit, accounting, regulatory, compliance, etc.) 

- Good analytical, interpersonal, time management, research, and communications skills 

- Must be able to effectively work with new and changing situations including new industry regulations; where there may not always be a readily apparent solution 

- Must be able to view controls issues and concerns from the perspective of the Audit Committee and Senior Management 

- Must be capable of presenting results to senior management 

- Good at both written and spoken English 

- A sound working knowledge of computer 

- Self-motivation and initiative
