Job Description

  • Sales Tasks: 
  •  Work with the Management Team to formulate and implement sales plans and programs for the sale of all Food Service labels; 
  •  Coordinate with Management Team to accurately project monthly volume by label by account; Maintain relationship and contact with all accounts and develop plans to enable achievement of yearly budget; 
  •  In coordination with the Management Team to develop yearly budget by account and by label; 
  •  Pricing/Cost Analysis for all customers to be reviewed with the Management Team; 
  •  Participate in any/all bid processes to maintain/expand business and distribution; 
  •  Manage relationship with Food Service customers and brokers; 
  •  Communicate regularly and attend shows to keep abreast of competition and issues related to meeting distribution and volume goals; 
  •  Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules & discount rates;
  •  Prepare recommendations and implement approved strategies as appropriate; 
  •  Coordinate with Customer Service Representative to maintain accurate price lists, program accruals and allowances for Food Service Customers; 
  •  Trade Show Participation - Including Food Service Customer Shows and others requested by the organization; 
  •  Prepare and present sales reports a minimum of twice a year for bi-annual sales meetings as set by the Company; 
  •  Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments that impact ability to perform duties and responsibilities (Accounting, Packaging/Material, Plant/Production, Farm Operations);
  •  Develop list of target customers and develop and recommend specific pricing/ programs to compete for business (to be approved by General Manager (GM) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)); 
  •  Maintain margins and update pricing as needed; 
  •  Monthly sales forecasting for production planning and annual budgeting; 
  •  Coordinate with customer service representative and finance on customer orders, programs, promotions and related accruals; 
  •  Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide qualified personnel.

Job Requirement

  • At least Bachelor's Degree major in Sales, Marketing and Business Development; 
  • At least 7 years' experience in sales and marketing of branded food/beverages with FMCG Company, or the equivalent is required; 
  • • Experience in creating and designing the distribution model in FMCG Company; 
  • • Good team player and advisory skills, motivation skills; 
  • • Strong communication and team management skills; 
  • • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills; 
  • • Proficiency with MS Office application is preferred; 
  • • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills; 
  • • Valid driver's license and the ability to drive commercially is required.
