Job Description
1. Identify new business potential by identifying customer requirements, defining the market, market shares and growths, competitors share, advantages and weaknesses and forecasting potential new business;
2. Manage market research or analysis projects by evaluating findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations to senior management about the viability of opportunities;
3. Establish long-term professional relationships with potential clients, customers, and partners (for example in government or industry associations) to promote the organization’s products and services;
4. Lead meetings, and negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization’s business interests;
5. Refer sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate contacts within the organization and liaise with other functional and operational area members to ensure that these referrals are followed-up promptly;
6. Provide Business Development direction as aligned with the company’s strategic directions and objectives;
7. Ensure that the division’s set targets are cascaded and met;
8. Assess the marketability and profitability of products by researching, identifying and capitalizing market opportunities;
9. Identify and negotiate for additional business and/or improvement of terms of the existing business;
10. Ensure that all business contracts are aligned with the Regional policies and directives;
11. Gather qualitative market information through interviews with medical practitioners or field representatives, to get constant updates of the market situation and market dynamics;
12. Coordinate new business development projects and initiatives with other business and support units to ensure smooth implementation;
13. Establish a positive achievement-oriented work environment within the business unit.
Job Requirement
1. Have a Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Management or Science (Pharmacy or Medicine) (MBA degree is a definite advantage);
2. Have a minimum of 3 years in Marketing Management (Min 3 Years’ experience in Ethical Product Manager);
3. Good at networking, persuasion, prospecting, presentation and closing skills;
4. Strong motivation for sales;
5. Excellent identification of customer needs and challenges;
6. Computer literate, good command of spoken and written English, and research;
7. Exposure to Obstetric-Gynecology (most preferred), Cardiology & Derma Beauty - Aesthetic;
8. Have experience with Pharma MNC.
