Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage effectiveness and efficiency of all process of Air Export/Import Customer Services to meet with company policy and customer requirement.
- Review the SOP and set up the proper working flow, reduce unnecessary step, use the program or system instead of human work and assign job to the appropriate CS both spot and regular business.
- Oversee and direct all operations of Air Export/Import Customer Services team to ensure daily operations efficiencies and achieve objectives.
- Coach and develop CS team to work well under company strategy, regular training and guidance how to gain the revenue by CS for GP plus activity.
- Control process of invoicing to customers & overseas including controlling cost of sell to airlines/suppliers with efficiencies, correctly and in due time.
- Weekly & Monthly checking PLS report.
- Preparer's KPI monthly report.
- Annalise profit & loss reports and take corrective action when required.
- Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
- Effect necessary communication and motivation to staff. Monitors individual performance via observation and review of various productivity.
- Maintain working relationships with existing customers and support sale team of potential new sales opportunity.
- Achieve yearly volume budget which assigned by RHQ/GHQ.
- Review yearly Cargo Steering Performance.
- Monitor monthly PDCA to achieve KPI set by GHQ.
- Achieve tonnage for the airlines which set by GHQ onto cargo steering plan.
- Prepare related information related with RFQ such as customer, competitor information to support tender.
- Prepare bidding rate for submit as tender.
- Check & Prepare quotation for existing customers.
- System generate suggestion as opportunity pipeline & activity report in order to meet agreed KPIs.
- Prepare rate request by using quotation system.
- Coordinate with RHQ/BO and customer for SOP update.
- Maintain internal follow rules, regulations of company, safety & health and environmental rules.
- Organize team-roles, educate staffs and evaluate staff performance.
- Coordinate & communicate with other sections.
- Other tasks assigned by immediate manager.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Make booking with airlines at reasonable cost based on trade lane strategy and airlines strategy.
- Achieve accurate booking within airlines, avoid consolidation to combine several airline booking request.
- Follow up booking confirmation and create MAWB in internal system correctly.
- Monitor shipment status and update information of any irregularity i.e. damage/split/missing cargo/misroute.
- Communicate with customers/dept. for smooth operation and solving problem.
- Support Accounting Team for sending SOA to customers.
- Following and chasing Payment from customers.
- Support other tasks with departments upon necessary.
- Other tasks assigned by immediate manager.
